Originally from France, I’ve been living in Japan for over 11 years now. I came to Osaka planning to stay only a few months, but the city quickly felt like home and I never left.

After spending years enjoying the lively atmosphere of downtown Osaka, I now live in a quieter area in a large traditional-style house. In my spare time, I love sewing clothes and accessories using old kimono fabrics and other vintage Japanese textiles.

I’m always curious about what’s happening locally, whether it’s seasonal festivals, flea markets, retro shopping streets, or small neighborhood events.

People often say Osaka has a strong personality, I probably do too. I love humor, meeting new people, and making others feel comfortable.

What I enjoy most is taking the time to slow down and really experience the city: wandering through tiny alleyways, noticing everyday details, and exploring neighborhoods that many visitors would normally pass by.

My tours are less about rushing from one famous spot to another and more about sharing places that still feel lived-in and authentic.

I’m a big fan of sake and craft beer, so I organize food tours centered around local specialties, from well-known Osaka dishes to tiny hidden spots you’d probably never find on your own.

I also offer tours in Nara, beyond the famous deer park, a quieter and deeply historic city with a very different atmosphere from Osaka.

And as a mother, I’m familiar with plenty of family-friendly places and activities that work well for visitors traveling with children.
